“Pop Vs. Soda”

Inspired by a map showing the different regional names for soda across the United States, I set up an online survey about regional names for different items and phrases, such as shoes, candy, and insects. I received over 170 responses from people across the country. With the data, I created both printed maps, as well as an interactive web site that shows individual data by state and includes detailed information about the respondent pool.
