“Sunset Park, Brooklyn, NY: Medical Facilities and Disaster Capacity Analysis”

aknoll

All of the medical facilities in Sunset Park were mapped with quarter mile buffers to help the client understand how much medical capacity the neighborhood had in the event of a hurricane event. The storm surge data is from FEMA, and the facilities on the map are from a site survey, in addition to information from the New York City Department of Planning's Community Facilities information.

This map is part of a series of maps analyzing the hurricane vulnerability of Sunset Park in Brooklyn.
