“Towards a Model Block: How many square feet of Arable Land exist in a Block?”

This diagram is designed to show how many square feet of potentially "farm-able" land can be gathered in a dense urban area. The timeline illustrates a 40 year plan combining roof top farming, back yard gardening, and using public space along side of neighborhood streets to achieve a small degree of food self-sufficiency within a neighborhood.
